What Do You Brag About?

We all have something or someone in our lives that we are so proud of that we love to talk and brag about. Whether it is our children, house, car, or job, we all have something that we never get tired of sharing about. For me, it is my great-nephew Jeremiah. He recently turned one and he is just the cutest thing with two feet. He has hazel eyes and looks exactly like his mother, when she was his age. He started walking at nine months and is very smart ofr his age.

I brag a lot about finishing college... lots of people told me I wouldn't even finish high school, since I dropped out of it and ended up taking correspondance for the rest of my courses, but the marks I got that way was good enough to get me into a real college where I took web development courses. And to top it all off... I ended up getting the highest over all grades in all of my program and was the only person there to get on the President's list (which you get on by finishing with an average that is over 80% in all your years in college). It made me and my family so proud. I think they probably brag about it more than I do lol

i hope that i don't brag. but, i suppose taking about my life and my family might seem like it. i personally don't care for people bragging about their "money", and "material things", but your family, children and spouse i don't consider to be bragging.

I brag about the two bands that I help here in Melbourne, they don't get much of a go here as the music industry is not real good at the moment especially in the country music fied but that doesn't stop me from bragging because both bands a good, I would go as far as saying the best in the country....I am a good bragger....:)

I know it might be strange but I brag about my dog a lot. I am one of those people that think their dog is the cutest in the world. Also I brag about my boyfriend. I found my soulmate and since that is very rare i think it deserves to be bragged about.

I think kids are greatest thing to brag about. :) My son is 15 months and is the most adorable little boy. He runs all over the place and gives everyone cute little smile. He has a great personality and is super smart. He says around 100 words and picks up new things really quickly.

You have hit upon a topic that is very close to my heart! While I not a snobbish sort of a braggart, I work hard at the things that I do, and when I do something notable, I ensure that I get maximum mileage for it!!!! Some one wise told me never to even attempt to be humble when you get your fifteen minutes of fame, as public memory is very short. That is one really good piece of advice and I really abide by it. When my friend set a new track record in Need For Speed, a computer car racing game, there was no end to his bragging. I worked at my game and when I displaced his record, man, did I brag about it!!! I brag about my famous fore-hand smashes in TT, my programming skills, my blogging skills and now, about my five year old nephew's exploits! I'm waiting to hit a rating score of ten on mylot. That's going to be the next thing that I would brag about!!! Take care and God bless!

I don't really tend to brag toomuch about things. I know some people who are constantly bragging and trying to impress me & others, and always try to turn things into a competition so if i bragged about something they'd brag about something else even more, and i can't be bothered with all that. Having said that i do talk about my cat a lot as i've not had her that long, so maybe that could be seen as bragging?

I have to admit I brag about my children. I'm very proud of both of them. My daughter is 20 and is in her second year of college. She is trying to get things situated to transfer to another college about an hour or so from here. She is planning to be a licensed physical therapy assistant. She has a very loving and compassionate heart and I'm sure she will do well in this field. I'm just not looking forward to her leaving home. My son is 14 and is in the 8th grade in school. He has been on the A/B honor roll all three times this year that he has received his report card. Bless his heart, he has come a long way. We didn't know it until he was in kindergarden that he has autism/asperger's. But once we found out and got him the help he needed he has really made progress. Last year he received a "Top of The Class" award and received a certificate in a special program. He loves to talk about trains and airports, but he is a very loving child and will do anything to help someone.

I don't blame you for always talking about your nephew. I have two boys, that I can never say enough about. I myself don't like to brag about material things in my life because who knows when they will be gone, you know. But I think most people brag about someone special in their life. And it shows others how much they love them.

I brag about my dog a lot. It might seem a bit strange but I am one of those people that just thinks their dog is the cutest iun the world. Also I brag about my boyfriend. I have found the right guy and that is rare, so bragging about it seems to me a natural thing to do.

I really am not much of a "bragger". However, I am very proud of my husband...he is a wonderful person, with high moral standards, a hard worker, a great father and provider. He is very strong and I love him dearly. Secondly, I probably brag about my daughter and her son (my grandson). My daughter faced a rather tough childhood, and has come out to be a very strong individual that is not afraid to live and stand up for herself. My grandson is just the cutest little bugger you ever saw, lol. Oop...did I go over my bragging quota there.

i love to brag about my 17 month old son. sometimes i have to pay close attention to how much i talk about him. even though i am his mom, and i am proud of everything, and i mean everything, that he does, i also know that not everyone wants to hear every thing he has done that day. i know if i were another person listening to me, i would go nuts. haha. i try to keep it short and sweet, but i usually go on and on about the things that i thought were funny. i only hope that people are actually listening to what i am saying about him, and not just nodding their heads with a fake smile. that is what worries me, so thats why i try to keep it short and sweet.
