I'm all about family and friends. I'm not too interested in going to some far away place and know no one. I like to visit over a cup of coffee in good company. I'm just looking forward to being able to go camping this summer.

I prefer a vacation where you can just relax, and enjoy the company of the person or persons, you are with. Wether it'd be in a 5 star all inclusive resort in Jamaica, or in a cozy little cottage up north Quebec, it's who i'm with on my vacation that counts the most for me.

I always say I want a vacation where I can just lay on the beach and relax all week, and it never happens. I love seeing new places and exploring all there is to do. Walking the freedom trail in Boston, exploring Central Park, hiking to a waterfall in Yellowstone, taking a sailboat tour on the Cape, going to a recreated witch trial in Salem, rafting on the Colorado river...... I also like touring caves, a day at a waterpark, going to Busch Gardens, Sea World, or Disney park. All this leaves little time for relaxing tho I do love to spend at least one afternoon at the beach when we're nearby. I try to stay away from museums. My hubby & I tour them in very different ways so this avoids fighting. I also get bored quickly with seeing a bunch of things on display when there's a whole big world to explore in it's natural setting.

I love going camping at the lake. We take our boat and go for boat rides. We also go swimming and fishing. We make a campfire at night and just sit talking and looking out at the lake and the lights on the boats.

I'm glad to see somebody who appreciates museums and cultural places here. :) Yes, that would be a good idea. I'm also planning to do the same thing, you know. To learn more of history and of my roots. ;)
