I am a preschool teacher for the deaf. I teach the to speak,I know it's a hard task and it takes time to do it, but sometimes i just feel frustrated whenever I feel like they don't understand me :(

i can relate about your experience. i am also a college instructor for the deaf. i am teaching for the last 10 years with my deaf students. the most common communication we have is sign language. in this way, you are bridging the gap between the world of silence and the world of sound.
what strategy do you used in dealing with your deaf pupils. is it oral method? how about sign language?

yeah...I oftentimes feel the same way. I think mine is even worst coz I am handling college students..They should already know how to do things on their own..But I don't see any effort on their part.I always give my all when it comes to discussions..I see to it that I come to class well prepared just to make sure that they will learn something from me..But it frustrates me a lot to find out that they didn't even appreciate my effort. Its affects me too much coz its means ineffieciency in my part..
