I just did a discussions about the cruelties of how animals are kept and killed by the food industry--that is your cattle and chicken farms--but which in the long run do you think is crueler--the food industry or hunters. I've never been too keen on the practices by hunters, but now I'm beginning to wonder..hunters don't kill in great mass production like the food industry..yet they aren't saints either--what's your opinion?

Well I'm against sport hunters, ones that hunt and leave the body behinds or just take a trophy. Those that are hunting for food I don't have a problem with. I don't find it cruel to hunt for food especially when you consider if people didn't hunt many animals would die of starvation during the winter months. Starvation is not a pleasent way to go.
I did look at those videos and they are not accurate for the food industry. I'm not saying it doesn't happen but not all in the food industry are like that, in fact most aren't. It's a shame some are and those should be shut down but just because a few are cruel doesn't mean all should be blamed.

I'm against hunting for the "fun" of it too...or how about those special "game" areas where hunters can get the chance to hunt "wild" animals like tigers, or lions...they're usually the older animals no longer wanted at circuses or zoos--I used to know a woman who had a boyfriend and the two hunted...okay they did eat the meat, but then they had the stuffed deer heads all hanging on the walls--ugh...gave me the creeps

When you say hunters, please divide it into at least two sections; those who kill for food and those who kill for pleasure.Big game hunters, poachers and other so-called hunters who just do it for the "thrill" are killing for no reason. The food industry and the hunter who kills for food are doing it for the benefits of their families.

To quote you..."The food industry....who kills for food are doing it for the benefis of their families....
Maybe you should watch these videos on these websites:

If you watch these videos you tell me if it for a benefit--for who--only for the food industry
And yes I'm against hunters who kill for the thrill of it...
