Do you remember River Phoenix? I just saw My Private Idaho and started to wonder. If River had lived, would he have an Oscar by now? Would he be considered the next James Dean? would he be as big as Leo Di Caprio? Or bigger? What do you think?

I remember him and enjoyed him in several movies. I loved him in "Sneakers". I don't know if he'd lived how much more he would have done. there is no telling in that but he did show a lot of potential. Everything I saw him in I enjoyed but I don't know if he was any better then the main ones we have now so like I said hard to say. If you get a chance see him in "Little Nikita" with Sidney Portier. That was very good. that and "Sneakers" in my opinion were his two bests.

You're welcome. "Little Nikita" also has Sidney Portier in it. It was one of the first movies I saw River Phoenix in though. He plays an all American teenage boy who finds out his parents are Russian Sleeper Spies. Lot of suspense and drama to it and some good humor as well.

River Phoenix would have been huge. He *was* Leo Dicaprio before there was a Leo Dicaprio if you get my meaning. "Running on Empty," is a great example of his work and the talent that he had.
