Do you enjoy silence? Try to be descriptive and open :) As far as it goes for me, I do but then I should have a mood for it. Depends on what time it is. Where I am. I feel silence is very romantic but sometimes can be really frigtening.

I love silence. Especially when I meditate or when I sleep, I love to have silence around me and it inspires me to think and dream about things that I want to do. I somehow don't get frightened by silence, though I have seen quite a few who are afraid of it. Cheers! Ram

I see many similarities. When I sleep, I like music which is very soothing and sweet like silence but not actually silent.

There are times when I really crave for silence. I'm a writer and it really doesn't help when there's something or someone making noise. I can't concentrate on my work. But the silence I mean is not the total absence of sound -- just the absence of noise. You know, sounds that aren't natural, sounds that are out of place. My favorite place where I would really love to enjoy silence is the beach, a private cozy cove somewhere. I love listening to the waves, you see. They lull me to peaceful thoughts.. :D
