Favorite Sports movie? / myLot

Which is your favorite sports related movie and why? I have two favorites and both involve Aamir Khan. One is Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar and the other is Lagaan. Both these movies give me energy everytime I watch them. Cheers! Ram

You know what? It's all about Cinderella Man. The story of Jim Braddock's one last fight is one to remember. One of the greatest movies of all time

My favorite sports movie is "Rudy," because it shows that one can achieve goals through hard work and determination.

Hey! Are english movies included in this topic, because I have lots of them!;) Movies like 'the waterboy', 'the replacements', 'happy gilmore', 'any given sunday' and of course, the movie which includes Dalip Singh( WWE's the great khali).. 'the longest yard'. This are just some of my favorites, as there are still more from the back of my mind that I can't still remeber as of mow!;)

Of course English movies are included. Of the list you have mentioned I have seen Happy Gilmore, but of course with Adam Sandler in that the movie was going to rock. :) Cheers! Ram

I also like Lagaan, well you can say that it is my favourite sports movie. I also like some english sports movies like 'The Longest yard' and the one which is on Michael Jordan they really rock and show us a great deal about the sport.

I loved Lagaan and iqbal Both were unique and i enjoyed watching them

I also heard that Iqbal was quite good. Unfortunately I have not yet been able to see this movie. I am just hoping one of the channels would show this movie soon. Cheers! Ram

I too like Lagaan. I enjoyed the movie. It had many elememnts such as courage, betrayal, love and so on. Especially the dramatic end.
