What will you do when you come across and old friend after a long gap.

Friends are the ones who keep us laughing all the time.We dont hesitate to share things with friends. We might have many friends right from childhood, some of them going abroad for studies going to some other school or may be when they get a job and settle down in some other place. Definetly that creates a gap and we just start drifting away.
What will you do when you meet a old friend after a long gap. How will you react at that moment? Do you hug them? What all would you like to do at that momemt.
Coming to me when i meet a old friend i shake hands and give a warm hug take them over to my place give them a small treat which ever is possible at that very instance. We will talk about all those things that have happened in the meanwhile while we were seperated. Exchange our phone number to stay in touch. Plan some party when ever we both are free. Thats all what i do and hope you guys will share your experiences.

It's so long I have not come across an old friend whom I have not seen for years. I let you know after I have met one? As with my ususal style, if the old friend is someone I don't want to meet, I will avoid by all means. If avoiding is unavoidable, I will probably just say 'Hi', and then find an excuse to get away. If it is someone else, I might exchange phone numbers or go for a drink if time permits. So, to answer your question, what I will do depends who I meet.

sure shot will wait for that responce from you. And about avoiding those people whom you dont want to meet even i do the same just give them a lame excuse and skip the place ;). Thanks for sharing with us and responding to my dicussion.

By thinking of come acress an old friend after a long time, I am getting so excited. I have so many good friends who I did not meet for a long time. I would really love to meet them.
Hmmm what I will do after catching them so long....I would like to do a lots of things. First of all we will talk a lot about the happening of our life during the days we were far way from each other. Then some good food, movies etc. And I would love to go to those places and do those activities wherever we used to go or whatever we used to do when we were spending time together in old days.

I came across an old friend last month that i haven't seen in years i mean over 10 years!! He noticed me,my daughter had already told me that some man was looking at me and i really didn't pay it no mind.So i told her girl he must see something he really like.So 5 minutes later i heard somebody call my name and i said his name.We hugged and talked for over an hour.We talked about family and all!!! We stay in contact on myspace and everything!!It was good seeing him!!

It would depend on why there was a seperation for starters, what kind of mood I'm in, where we're running into each other and so on....and also how close of friends we were in the first place

If I come across an old friend after a long gap I don't know what would be my reaction, but I know one thing that, that moment will become my one of the most memorable moment of my life.

If I'd see her/him in a distance with a probability of bumping at each other, I'd probably took a different route. But if by some twist of fate we were faced-to-faced with each other then I'd probably put on a smile and wait for her reaction before mouthing anything.

I will express my happiness if i met some old friends after a gap.I always love to share my talks with friends and never skip any old friend.But i think iam in touch with most of my old friends except very few whom i have missed.Definitly i will first take a note of their contact like mail, mobile and lan telephone so that atleast after this gap i could stay in touch with them and make sure for some get to gether.I will also inform other friends regarding this sudden meet.

when we girls meet ,the first thing important will be hey how do i look hv i changed ? and answer is alos known ,no u look same ,hehehehehe,i know girls are girls ,i met one friend in 10th and we met after 14 yrs and answer was the same . this is the most common response for girls.
