Ive got a mathematically based strategy to (theoretically) never lose. Premise: -Its very dangerous -It requires a lot of starting money -You need to have a betting table with a very low minimum bet. That said all you have to do is bet on the other color that has come out. If red comes out you bet black. If you lose you double your bet, if you lose again, you double your bet again. Mathematically when your color will come out you will always win back all the money you lost + 1. The problem is that we dont know how fair the (real or online) tables are. So if they can trick the roulette to just keep coming the same color for lots of times you are screwed.

Hi Postrock, This sounds like a good idea, but you are guaranteed to lose your money this way. It doesn't matter how deep your pockets are, sooner or later a sequence of reds / blacks will come up that will exceed your capacity to recover the situation. You might get lucky and win a bit of money, but just think - while you might win, say, +20 units by succeeding with 20 sequences of doubling up, it only takes ONE sequence of reds / blacks to put your losses over your limit and break your bank. Even if your bank is, say, 10,000 units, it only takes a string of 13 bad results to wipe you out (and take your 10,000 units off you). And to make matters worse, the Casino has a maximum bet size which will prevent you from trying to double up past a given level - so once you reach that limit, again your losses are irrecoverable. So you're right - the strategy is quite dangerous, because each time you double up, you're putting increasingly large amounts on the table (very quickly hundreds, and then thousands) just to get back 1 unit in profit. In a nutshell, anyone who tries this strategy and gets away with it (even with a little bit of profit) should consider themselves lucky.

Hi susu235378, If you're talking about a computer program or an on-line roulette wheel, then I doubt there's any way at all to predict what it's going to do (unless you had some inside information about the program or some other factor). BUT if you're talking about a real roulette wheel in a real Casino, where you can watch the croupier flick the ball around the wheel each time there's a new spin, then it might be possible to pick up some pattern that depended on the particular croupier and his or her throwing style. But you'd have to be pretty patient to observe each croupier for long enough to see if there is any exploitable pattern in the results that he or she produced. It is possible, because the croupier's action might not produce completely random results. Aside from that, in theory the roulette wheel is supposed to produce completely random outcomes each time the wheel is spun - that means that each number from 0 to 36 has an equal chance of coming up each time (that is, one chance in 37). I'd be very surprised if anyone is actually able to consistently make profits on the roulette wheel, because it's rigged to favor the Casino. In the long run, the Casino will win just slightly more than the gamblers, but that's all it needs to do to fleece them all.

After I had read your discussion I asked some roulette lovers and they told me that it's better to begin with even money bettings eg color, column, dozen, high-low and odd-even. Though we may win less but the chances are higher but the best way is not to bet lol. Good luck in casino.
