First time I heard of Kings of Leon was when I saw them play as support band of Pearl Jam in Australia. I was immediately impressed! What a great band and what a different sound compared to other bands. The voice of the singer can cut through glass! After I saw them live I immediately got their album and I must say that live they sound even better than on their album. They really kick some butt!

I like Kings of Leon! They are really distinctive, certainly not copying off anyone. I believe they are all brothers (or related somehow, anyway). My son got me onto them. (He knows I like odd stuff.) I've just got the one CD of theirs (which my son gave me) and apart from one song which has a swear word I loathe on it, I love all the tracks. Good for you seeing them live. I can't understand why they are not more well known. Quite often I like the support band better than the main one. I saw the Verve in Auckland and I saw (for the first time) Chris Knox (of Tall Dwarfs fame) and absolutely lost myself in his originality and bold style. Another time also in Auckland, a few years ago, I went to see Patti Smith who was support for Bob Dylan. I adored her. When Bob came on he was such an anticlimax I only sat thru three songs and then went home :-) Fun remembering.....

I agree that they don't get the attention that they deserve. Their music is fairly unique. Whenever I feel a bit down I make sure I listen to them, because it makes me feel so much better. In fact it makes me feel like bouncing up and down around the room LOL.

I love Kings of Leon. They get alot of crap but their music is very good. Caleb's voice is original and the music is great too. I have every album and wish they had more. I also seen them in 2010 and they were AMAZING. Like you said they are even better than on the album.

I am a big Kings Of Leon fan. I first heard of them when one of their first songs ("Red Morning Light") was on a FIFA game for the Playstation 2. Since then I have bought every one of their albums and am waiting for their latest album, "Come Around Sundown", which is released in about 2 weeks. I haven't seen them live yet, but they are definately at the top of my list for bands I want to see.
