what is the sweetest thing you've ever done to your lifetime partner?

I just asked my husband what was the sweetest thing I had ever done for him and he told me that it was when I married him. Now, did I marry a sweetheart or what! As of last Valentine's Day, we have been married 5 years. We are both in our 50s and it is the 2nd marriage for both of us. I had given up hope of ever finding a man I could really love; a man that could love me for who I am and never lay a hand on me in anger. Never give up hope. God sent me the perfect man when I least expected it. For the first time in my life, I know the meaning of true love. I wish we had met sooner but, obviously, that was not in God's plan. I am just thankful that we met.
