Does AGE really matters????

Well, my BF is 8 years older than me...And i truly love him... so much! but people around me always tease me that he's way too old for me... and they always say that he only wants to get my virginity... but he really don't... actually, he respects me so much.
People around me always criticize our moves and i really hate it! i sometimes think that i guess we're not suited for each other... but idamn love him truly...It's just hard hearing voices saying bad things around you... what would i do?

It all depends on the maturity of each person and the motivation. That being said, my hubby is 16 years older than me, but I was 33 and he was 48 when we married. So we were both older and experienced in knowing what we want out of life. We've been married 11 years.
Only you and your significant other know what each of you want out of life and whether or not you can provide that for one another. Best of luck to you both.

That's true... It really depends on the maturity of each person...I think more mature than my BF (lol)... kidding... well, we'll be having our 6th monthsary on April 8, 2007. and we decided to celebrate the whole day together... Go to church first then stroll in the mall... (do you think that would be good?)
Well, people criticize us so much because I'm only 19 and he's turning 27 this year. ANd to think that he's also famous and kindah richer than i am... they think that i'm just after of his family's money which i am not interested too... i love my boyfriend so much. He's the only guy i've spend my whole time with... I had past relationships but they only lasted for a month... (and most of them days...lol) he's the only guy also that could control me with my vices (that's work... I'm a workaholic and Computer Addict!) ANd he loves my family too... He's a great guy while i am nothing but an ordinary girl living in a very simple life. That's why i sometimes feel like i don't fit for him... but he always makes me comfortable and says that fame and riches are nothing when it comes to true love...
I really hope we'll be steady...

well, we really do enjoy each others company. you're right...we're totally different... I'm eldest in our family while him... he's the youngest! (lol) actually, he's the only single in their family...his sisters were teasing him to marry me now... But he always say that i must first finish my studies... He's a real gentleman that's why i truly love that man...

well,only 8 years...well,if you are 14 and he is 22 maybe it would be problem:)for example me,i am 22 and my boyfriend is allmost 19 years older than me!but whats the problem?we hear many gossip about us,but it doesnt matter what other think to us..my boyfriend is so nice,he looks good he doesnt look his age.and together we are perfect couple.so i just say to you,no,gae doesnt matters to me!:)

If I was in your position I would take no notice of other people at all. You are obviously well suited and enjoying your relationship and that is the most important thing in the world.
I know it is hard, especially when you are young, but as long as your parents understand that he respects you and that the relationship is true, then don't worry about it.

yeah...both of our families respect our decisions...
I guess i really have to fight for him huh?
Thanks for your suggestion... I truly appreciate it... Our relationship is on rocky roads right now because of those nasty gossips...It's good to know that there are people who understands us...
