Broadband or Dial-up? What do you use?

I currently use broadband and couldn't imagine surfing without it as I have had dial-up before. I have so many places to go and things to do online I don't want to have to wait for the page to load up with all the pics and advertisements on the net that have to load up on your page. What do you have? If broadband would you go back to dial-up and if dial-up do you wish you had broadband. This is just a question I wondered what other people thought about it.

When I was on dial up I would go to one of my sites that I do genealogy on to look at the census records.. It took maybe 2-3 mintues to go to the next page.. Very frusting.. But when we got on cable modem I could not believe how fast it was in turning to pages for my census records.. Amazing...

Speed is something that you really don't want to give up once you have it and see the advantages of it. The very first computer I got many many years ago I had dial up on and a simple search on the internet would take half the day because of how slow it was

There could be a situation where you had to cut back on cost and broadband would be one of the cost. Would you cut the broadband and go back to dial-up. Does that help you better understand the question?

Broadband of course. Wouldn't have it any other way. But if I had nothing but dial-up I would use it only until my dial up was connected of course.

I'm using broadband internet. It's faster and cheaper than using dial-up especially if you use internet more often. I used dial-up connection before but I encounter a lot of problems with it. First thing is, the internet speed is very slow. It's not that easy to connect to the server. And it is always disconnected everytime I log-in.

We had a dial up before. It was so slow and oftentimes we are disconnected. What we use now is MyDSL. Its a lot faster than the dial up. My kids are mostly on PC online games and they like it very much when we shifted to this broadband.

I am a broadband user and I 'was' a dial-up user. Broadband is undoubtedly fast than dial-up and if I would never ever think of going back to dial-up.
