I ran over my foot...with my OWN car!

Classic VW Beetle - Classic Volkswagen Beetle like the one I used to run over and break my foot.

Yes, you read that correctly. I ran out of gas in my classic VW beetle and thought, "Hey, I can see the gas station and it's on a down hill grade. I can give it a push and coast on in." Which would have been fine had I not pushed the car onto my foot! My poor right foot! Needless to say I have a teeny tiny broken bone in my foot and I am wearing a lovely foot boot type of thing. It's a surgical post-op shoe. It's very attractive and fashionable. Not! So, be careful the next time you run out of gas and try to push your car!

Ouch! That has to hurt! My mom ran over my foot with the car once, but fortunately it was on grass so I only got a bit of a bruise. Cars are HEAVY. Hope you recover quickly!

Yes, I am glad it was my VW and not my other car. However, it was the back tire that ran over my foot. Right where the engine is!

Ouch! I bet that hurts quite a bit! I don't drive so i hopefully won't be in the situation of driving over my own foot ever! I just hope no one else decides to try driving over my foot either. Hope you are more careful next time, and hope the foot gets better soon.
