Originally, our plan to visit and tour canada would start on end of this month or april 1st. We're on waitlist (march 31 and april 1) and obviously there's no way that flight will be confirmed, because the travel agent said the bookings are already full and so the flight was moved to april 6. I had already told my sis and brod that we're leaving April 1st. My father was a little disappointed and so am I. We are really very eager to fly to see my sister and brother and also to experience Canadian lifestyle and atmosphere. Do you have the same experience? Trip / flight or an adventure was postponed coz of some reasons? How did you feel? How did you go about it?

It is years since I have flown anywhere , I just wanted to say I am so sorry you have been disappointed , there is nothing worse than being all prepared for something and it not happening , especially If you have had to make special arrangements , I hope it all happens for you soon , xx

Yes weeman, my father and I were little disappointed because our flight didn't push through as planned. Well... I am just thinking that the Lord has reasons for allowing that to happen... But I hope that the Lord will let us travel as soon as possible because my dad is really excited to fly and travel.

I would be so dissapointed if something that seemed so solid fell through. I have missed a couple of planes over the years, and had boat travel delayed, but the trip always went through. I hope yours did/does to.

Oh have I been in the boat before. There is nothing you really can do. Except if it the travel companys fault, you may be able to get your money back.

yeah, you are right, there's is nothing I can do about it, but to wait til we can make the flight. I believe, though, that there must be some reasons why some plans don't push through. I can say that God maybe has reasons for the postponement, so that I can attend first to the needs of my sons whom I will be leaving behind. Thanks for sharing your thoughts Mam Carol!

I am going through my friends old discussions and I came across this one and I am wondering if you made that trip to Canada? Which city did you go to or were going to? I live in Canada and was just wondering. Did you have a good time? How long were you here? Would you want to live here? Would you be interested in moving here? How did the trip go?

Hi Chris, sorry I just read this today coz I was not into myLot for several weeks. Yes, I had that trip to Canada last April 6 to May 6 2007. My father and I first landed in Vancouver airport around 2pm and spent few hours with my brother and his family in a neighboring city of Vancouver coz we had connecting flight to Montreal in the evening. We wanted to first stay with my Sister in Quebec so that we can experience and see the snow. My sister and her spouse toured us in Montreal and the neighboring cities. We also went to Toronto and the Niagara Falls. We visited Ottawa, the capital of Canada, too. After 2 weeks with my sister, we went back to Vancouver and stayed 2 weeks with my brother in Coquitlam, BC. We went around the neighboring cities like Port Moody, Pitts Meadows, Maple Ridge up to Abbots Ford, etc. We also went to Whistler and Black comb where the sceneries along the way is breath taking. We went to Victoria by car and ferry, visited Beacon Hill Park, downtown Victoria and saw the Empress Hotel and the Legislative buildings, Wax Museum and the port and many others. I really had a good time with my Canada visit and tour and I hope I can go back there some day. I don't consider moving or living there, I just want to go there for holiday or tour and visit my family members. In what place in Canada are you located? I really hope I can go back there if God wills it.

I am east of Vancouver but west of Montreal. I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba. You had to fly over our city to get to Montreal. I live right in the center of Canada and we get the coldest weather here.
