Church Problem

I just thought I would throw this out there for advice to see what some other ideas are. My family and I are born again Christians, we are a fundamental Baptist family. (Keep in mind as you read this that we have no car at this time). The only fundamental church that we can go to, we have had problems with the Pastor not keeping things said in confidence to himself. He has told his family and they have made comments to us about these things. So we stopped going. Now we are without a church and haven't been in over 4 weeks. That is the only fundamental church within 20 miles of us. What would you do. Where would you go? We miss going to church and fellowshipping with other people. THanks and God Bless.

Maybe you need to talk to your pastor and explain to him that you are disappointed in him not keeping the things you tell him in confidence. Forgive him for what he did, as God forgives you of your wrong doings. If you don't trust the pastor to keep the things you tell him in confidence, then don't confide in him anymore. Everybody makes mistakes, including the pastor. He should be held to a higher standard, but he is also human.
