Well I remember when this dreadful thing happened the experts here in Australia had a whole show on how it happened and where the steel supports failed, they had demonstrations and everything, they had this show to show where the builders of the building went wrong so the builders here would not make the same mistake....some people just get off on negatives, I don't know why people keep going on about it, the people responsible have claimed the responsibility and they have made it known they are proud of it so why must people do this....

Is she going to admit shes wrong when the experts come on the show and explain to her how wrong she is?

hahaha Good one! She's not wrong. Fire does not melt steel. Call an iron worker with an 8th grade education, even he can tell you that. 8th grade physics. Simple logic.

2800 degrees worth of fire and kerosene doesn't get that hot. I'll say it again--look it up and stop denying people their right to free speech.

Yeah, Rosie is right about that. Fire will not melt steel--especially as huge as those steel beams were. A demolition expert from overseas was shown the video of building 7 falling but was NOT told that it was building 7 of the world trade center. He praised the professional job that was done and talked about how the building "walked" the way it was supposed to and everything. The beams that were hauled away lickety split before an insurance investigation could be done (I believe it was a $3 million claim!) were in perfect pieces, say the iron workers that did the clean up. Can't imagine a simple fire could lay things out so neatly. Logically, and according to simple physics, it doesn't add up to be simply fire.

If the fire is hot enough it can melt steel. Fire is how they melt and shape it to begin with. I am tired of these conspiracy theories. Rosie needs to be booted off that show. I am tired of her.

I dont know if they will ever boot her off. iF THIS DOSENT DO IT WHAT WOULD? iT SEEMS THERE ARE MANY WORTHWHILE CAUSES THAT SHE COULD ADRESS, AND WHY SHE CHOOSES THIS ROUTE, WHO KNOWS.....

When facts start popping up, that kills theory.

If fire is hot enough it can destroy anything. I get a kick ou of Rose but I think this time she was wrong. It is hurts too many people and I don't like what she is implying.

No offense, but those buildings were build expressly to survive fire and bombing. The WTC has been hit with airplanes once before and rebuilt. The beams were 7 feet thick. Fire is NOT going to melt that. I wish people would be more like Rosie and investigate & do research instead of simply accepting what the TV tells us to accept. Do some searches and look up things like what temperature steel melts at and what iron workers actually have to do to work steel. Fire isn't all they need. Were you aware that Marvin Bush, the unknown brother's last day as Head of Security of the Twin Towers was September 10, 2001? That can be looked up too. Guess who runs Fox News now? Marvin Bush. Rosie hasn't even hit the tip of the iceberg yet. She's just bringing up what most of us should know from paying attention in junior high. Before you go saying I'm an idiot, I am in fact a Dean's List student holding a 3.83 GPA. I don't accept things without proof, and the proof ain't looking too good for the Bush Administration. A federal judge put a gag order on that woman from the CIA--you know, the one that got her cover blown by Carl Rove's order to leak her name to the press? A gag order was put on her because she has proof of the inside job. Don't just speculate and call people nuts. DO the RESEARCH. You can find all kinds of things online that the news is not telling us.

I agree. I think shes using a media position to the negative instead of the positive. It seems she likes to instigate and incite controversy. It may be a gimic to increase their ratings...

I have been reading your comments visitor and I agree with you. Throughout history we have been lied to and the truth does not come out. It is very healthy to question what is put infront of us. If the US government had been more honest, explained why the Pentagon only had a 16 foot wide hole where a plane was meant to have crashed into it or shown us all the cctv footage instead of 3 still frames, then maybe people wouldn't have so many conspiracy theories over it. As for George Bush, he is just a puppet, the real instigators are behind the scenes in the shape of neo-cons. Never trust a government. Good for you Visitor. I have researched this on both sides of the argument and all I can say is thank goodness we do have liberal, left wing views, otherwie freedom of speech would have long gone by now!!

Fire sure can melt steel. I worked with steel for over 20 years. A hot burning fire of any kind can melt steel. Actually what happens is the the heat will weaken steel to the point that it loses its strength. Steel is heat treated to increase its strength and wearability. Excessive heat can destroy that strength. All that wieght from a structure can cause the steel supports (framing) to collaspe. Rosie should stick to eating donuts.

The beams were 7 feet thick and that is not what the iron workers that cleaned up that mess are saying. The beams were only melted on the tip ends. Other wise, the beams were fine and reusable.
