would like to hear people fish stories!

Here's one that tells about childhood innocence. My son was just 5 years old when his father (my ex) took him and my other children up to a pond for a week. KC loved to "fish" and found himself a nice long stick. Then, he tied string around the end and plopped himself down near some adults and started to chat away with them. They thought he was so cute that one of them gave him some live bait. Excited, KC throws his line back in...and caught a fish! It was twice the size as the other adults and he was so proud! I love him!

Me and my dad always go fishing on opening day. We get down there veeeery early to get the best spot on our lake. We always make bacon egg and cheeses for our breakfast and talk as we watch the sun rise and wait for the fishing season to officially start. Usually my dad's friend meets up with us. We have three competitions: 1st to catch their limit (5 fish, which we always graciously obey), 1st to catch a fish, and longest fish. I can't wait until the third week in April!
