Sunflowers are very nice to look at because they're big and it's bright color yellow.. It's attractive to the birds and to the people who passes by your garden... sunflowers grow in any season, it also gives food to the birds... You can also eat its seeds..

I absolutely love sunflowers, although I have never tried growing them before. But they are definitely one of my favorite flowers, and I plan to plant them when I have my own garden.

actually, sunflowers DON'T grow in any season. it is just the start ofspring here, and we haven't had any flowers outside formore than 5 months. I live sunflowers, though. My son planted some last year in our garden by mistake, wsince he was throwing birdseed out for the sparrows in early spring. 3 grew, one against the house and 2 in the front yard. they have kept the squirrels fed all winter. I am planning on planting more this spring so we can keep more birds and animals alive next winter

I am planting some this year, for the first time since I was a kid...many years ago. I can't wait. I got a packet of multi-colored ones. There are oranges, yellows, and browns in the pack. I can't wait to see them. I think they will make a lovely addition to the garden and help keep the birds off the other vegetation...I hope. The seeds are really good for you too.
