I want to start making new and different things for dinner for the family, but not sure what yet? What are some of your favorite family meals?

One that goes over VERY well with my family is my homemade Chili Soup. I don't make it spicy as my hubby & I BOTH have ulcers but here is the recipe if you want to give it a shot...(It doesn't cost very much to make, either...ready in 45 minutes, too!) 1 lb ground beef 2 cans of diced tomatoes 2 cans of dark red kidney beans 1 bag of egg noodles (the wide ones work well) 1 ts of salt (approx...suit to your own taste) 1 ts pepper (approx...suit to your taste Chili powder Ground Nutmeg Brown and drain ground beef, add cans of tomatoes, beans and 2 cans of water and bring to a boil. Add salt, pepper, nutmeg and chili powder to suit your taste. Add noodles and simmer stirring occasionally for about 45 minutes. It goes well with shredded cheeses (chedder is REALLY Good!) It's simple but my family loves it. Please let me know if you try it and you like it too! :)
