The problem is we will foget this once India wins the next match. We will totally forget how badly India performed in the World Cup. I respect your sentiments and hope that most of us should think like this. Personally I am miles away from cricket. Since 1983's victory we only reached the final last time during Ganguly's tenure. After that our players got good contracts, country got a highly paid team of professionals but ultimate result is zero. Now Mr.Chappell is blaming our senior players and saying that he should not be singled out for the debacle. I feel yes he should not be singled out, but he shares the bulk of the responsibility of India's premature exit. Long back I like many of our fellow countrymen felt that too much of experiment does no good. My question is what Chappell could do to Ganguly, why can't he did the same with Tendulkar, Sehwag and others? If they are not listening to his advise then he should have contacted the board president immediately or could have send an urgent report to the president apprising him of the status. Nothing was done. If India has to win in any sporting event then we have to change the system totally.
