=D Nintendo Wii

To make the story short I woke up this morning this morning to find my dad holding a Nintendo Wii. Even now people are still pretty much camping out for the Wii, even if it is in small numbers. In my dad's case he was the seventh person in line and they were only selling seven at that time. Most of the people had apparently got there around three or four in the morining. Goes to show that perfect timing and luck also play a huge part. There was a guy behind him that didn't get it, I think. So the almost-late bird got the worm. To boot, Toys-R-US is having a "buy one-geting-one-free" deal on game.

Congrats on your new Nintendo Wii. I love mine and play it much more than I think I have played any other consule gaming system since this one. I can't believe people are still camping out for the Wii. I honestly thought that Nindendo and their chip manufacturers would have gotten a handle on things by now. It looks like I was wrong. Or perhaps the demand for the Wii is just so much bigger than anyone thought it was going to be. Thanks for the tip about Toys-R-Us though. I should really check that one out, considering that the games are pretty pricey.

The Toys-R-US deal was only for Activision games. They only told you that under it in small print. I wonder how many people say that, and figured it meant all games. (Activision seems to make games based off of movies.) Apparently they are supposed to be shipped in mass production sometime in mid-April. Until then people are still getting up at absurd times of the day/night to get the Wii. Even then you aren't guarteen to get one. Toys-R-US got a shipment of thirty-three. Walmart got either from seven to twenty-five. One store got around fifteen. Target just says the number and the date they get them is pretty much random. Nintendo isn't going to win any new customers this way. I don't know about Gamestop. They just have the bundle edition online, and that's around $500.

Wow! Lucky you, what a great surprise!! We just got our Wii two weeks ago and felt like we'd won the jackpot!! My friend got hers at Target after waiting in line for hours a few months back. How is the Wii playing going now, a month later?
