how do you manage your anger?

when mad, are you that violent? im a very patient person but when motivated enough to be mad im like a volcano that has erupted and that has been dormant for years!

I am normally very calm but when I get mad (not very often) people are surprised. I usually talk louder and just in an angry tone and I am sure I have an ugly twisted look on my face...but I am not violent.

I managed my anger, in the way that i think first before i make an actions. Like before, i had this person who came to me with an argument on something, then i try neutralized by showing that how i calm and open-minded i am. I just have patience and a really sincere manner. If you're working on customer service or something you'll experience some kind of people really bad phone calls like saying bad words on you, i don't lose temper, i just managed to answer as calm and sincere as possible. But i warned the person, not to speak a bad words because rules and regulations as a customer service personnel has also its rights. But sometimes, when i had a conversation with my mother, i sometimes commit i can't managed my anger, because if you're really want to correct something that you shouldn't do that. But still they not believing on you, i get mad and start saying my point. Well, i guess sometimes, we have to learn our temper/anger and used it in proper way or time. :)

I have a terrible habit of stuffing things that bother me deep down inside until there is no room for more. Then I explode with all that pent up resentment and anger. Sometimes, I just get in the car and blast the stereo and drive until I am not so angry. And I always cry when I am angry.

How much ever hard you can never justify anger . This is not to imply that I never get angry or I am a cool minded person . I do get angry at times but somehow manage to quickly get over it . I used to be upset with petty things but then I began to look at the larger picture of life . Think of it like this :why waste time being angry or in a bad mood when you can enjoy it all . When ever you feel like being angry laugh it away . Iam not joking . It can be done . I usually make a vivid humorous picture of myself with smoke coming out of my years and everywhere else , even the restricted areas . As soon as I am about to get angry this visualisation is triggered and I turn into a light mood almost laughing out aloud . For me its a perfect way to convert anger into humour and I enjoy it all ? Set this up and this can work so automatically for you that you won't remember the last time you were angry . Oh anger ! JUst laugh it away .

No i do not loose my cool very regulary i try to be patient as much as possible and try to think relatively when people tend to get angry and i generally do not talk to the person who is angry with me but when the person cools down i reason with them politely and when i get angry i jus shut up and walk away and try to be alone so i can control my anger and then go and talk to the person when i have cooled down and try to work out a solution and talk it out but if someone insults my family or friend then all hell breaks loose and i make sure that person learns a lesson i can take insults at me and would judje it relatively but when my family is involved and hurled abuses for no fault of theirs i loose it

hmm. madness... when does one must become mad or not to become mad? different persons, possess different tolerance with regards on holding once temper. i myself, can hold my anger quite long. in fact, i tried to see to it that one other person would not see my anger, still possessing that calmness and stillness. We have to understand, that when one person becomes mad, usually we tend to forget our rational ideas, because at that moment on, it is now the emotions that drives the person. there has been a lot of cases, where one person can kill another because of extreme anger, broke items or any other severe acts because of anger. im not pointing out not to be angry, but one must relax, breath deeply and think the possibilities. we cannot avoid not to angry but if we are on this state, focus on the issue, hold yourself together. :-)

I try to count to ten or think of something else just to calm myself down...sometimes I just take a long walk or just go out and get a fresh air. If one is angry one should also learn to have some outlet somehow or one could just erupt. It would be like a volcano just waiting to erupt. So when in anger, one should acknowledge it and not try to suppress it. We are only human.

i keep my mind cool till last stage but if its last stage is over then my temper go out and i cant control my anger if my mom controls then i can be cool again other wise think what i can i do ...............i also dont know that what can i do so i go and concentrate on my work and try to keep cool mind and do my work what do u think about me howz my nature is it cool or is it hot tempered from this discussion i mean i have respoded
