I think my dad and grandparents used to cut up cheap hot dogs and use those... You know the red kind? Actually all I can ever remember us using to fish were those and worms. They must have been good for something!

You might want to try cooked chicken.
Those catfish have very strange tastes.. But don't use too much salt.. they are fussy eaters...lol
