Medical Termination of Pregnancy or MTP has been increasing day by day. DOnt you think it is a crime to do so. No matter what ever reasons they may give isnt it as bad as a murder. Depriving an individual to enjoy the blessing of life. Do you think it should be encouraged

Life is never, ever that simple. What if the mother will die without a termination? Of the mother requires medical treatment that may injure or kill the baby? Which life is more important? In these cases you are depriving someone of life whatever you do. These things are never, ever as simple as people would have you believe. Life isn't straightforward. I'm a man and my own beliefs are that it should be the decision of the woman, hopefully with the participation of the father of the foetus. If they can live with the consequences of their actions, who am I to argue with them. It's their decision, their consciences.

I think when it comes down to medical reasons it would be okay for abortion but other than that no. I have 3 kids that need me so I would make that choice but as far as just because I didn't want the baby absolutly not. It is still a life. Scientists and doctors can try to say it's a "fetus" but that fetus still has its heart beating, and blood flowing through it's body. I could never do something like that. There are other alternatives like adoption.

No, I don't think it's a "crime", not at all. It is fully justified. Every woman has the right to her own body and she is the only one who can decide what happens to it. Not everyone wants children and birth control can fail. A non-sentient fetus does not have more rights than a thinking, feeling woman.

Thank you. I had never thought in that perspective.
