Nowadays the word glamour is quite a bit more common and is used as an adjective to characterize a person, thing or lifestyle's that affect on our daily lives. Glamour is something that we are supposed to want to obtain, because it will give us standing and prestige amongst our peers. So do you think being glamorous or wanting it is bad or not.??

No, I think it is okay if you like to be outstanding. It is quite joyful to be the centre of talks. Many people are fond of being under spotlights.

Oh you are quite right smkwan, sometimes I just love the attention given to me. It does'nt hurt being in the limelight especially if you also deserve it..(",)

I think I'm quite content to stay behind the shadow than to stage a glamourous life. We each have our own sense of style in carrying ourself. We can be glamorous without trying. But to say that I will glamorize myself just to gain friends and prestige is just not my cup of tea.

Me too, I want to be glamorous for myself. To boost my self esteem and confidence. Not to please other people to gain friends.

I have never been interested in being glamorous, I am an simple person, down to earth , and I like myself for that.
