How important is fitness to you?

I try to stay fit. Although in the winter I do tend to get lazy and put on what I call my winter coat lol. What I do to try to stay in shape is I do an hour of Denise Austin workout a day at least 3 days a week. And now that it's warmer out I've been taking my daughter to the park and doing a couple of laps. I've also joined a local mommy walking group. We either get together at a park and go walking or go walk around the mall if the weather is bad. So what do you all do to try to keep in shape?

I try to do a hundred sit-ups a day and try to walk a lot around the office. I used to go to the gym but ever since I've studied law I have had no time to go. I really want to stay fit coz I have a tendency to overeat and get really fat. I also try to look good for my boyfriend. I know looks are not important but I've read that men really are visual creatures and no matter what they say that it doesn't matter if you're fat or not, it DOES matter. I also do it for myself coz I want to feel good about myself. :)

Wow a hundred sit ups a day! You go girl! Geez I haven't done that many sit ups in quite some time. My goal is to have my abs nice and toned before I get into my bikini this summer. I like to look nice for my fiance as well. He says he loves me just the way I am but I would be happier with myself if I were more toned.

That's wonderful that you are so active. I myself wish I were more active than I am. I do try and do a workout on my treadmill 3 times a week, and have a couple of exercise videos I like. I also try and use my ab lounge on a regular basis.

Believe me I'm not always this active. There are some weeks when I don't feel like doing anything, especially when the weather is gloomy. It sounds like you are fairly active if you have a treadmill you are actually using. Some people get them and they just collect dust.

I really need more motivation to excercise more and be more concerned with what I'm eating. I really can't maintain a diet I've started because there are a lot of tempations around me and I have little self-control. I also can't make excercise a habit because I'm just too lazy to do it. I think I need some help.

to stay in shape i will prefer to spend time on yoga. it really, works . the thing required is to be consistent. i have witnessed it myself.u can get yoga cd any where. specially pranayam, they r very helpful in all round development of body.

When the weather is good enough I'll take my dog for a walk, and walk 3-4 miles. When I can't manage that, I just try and do aerobics and some light weight lifting inside. A lot of times, though, I'll get too sore to do anything and then slack off too much and get out of the habit. Now I'm trying to work on being consistent in at least walking. I've got a dvd from Leslie Sansone that I can put on and walk in place for anywhere from 2 to 6 miles just following several of her routines. I don't like the music she's got on it, so I put on music that I like and then do it.

Yes it should be important for us to stay fit. actually its one of the 7 habits of highly effective people. 1st is being proactive - being proactive means taking responsiblityfor everything in life, when your reactiv, you blame other people and circumstances for obstaclesof problems. Initiative,and taking action will follow. 2nd Begin with the end in mind - you should have a personalmission statement 3rd is First things First -prioritizing that is aimed at long term goal 4rth is think win win - to satisfy the needs of oneselfas well as others 5th is seek first to understand, then to be understood - listen to other person's oncerned 6th is Synergize - apply collaborate decision making. Value differences 7th is Sharpen the saw - focuseson balanced self renewal. since you are the saw you need to make sure that your mind and body is fit to be able to do all this habits hope this will help you ..God Bless!!!

I feel it is important to be fit. In winters i also got little lazy and worked out less but with summer approaching i am also making effort to workput more. I feel one should be more active in life that helps. I like to go for walks, do simple stretching exercises, try bit of aerobics and yoga. And hopefully i will increase the duration and variety & intensity of my workouts for better results. Hoping for the best. staying fit is important to me coz it help me to become active and i feel great! before i got married, i always do the taebo everyday, it doesnt matter if i do it morning or evening as long as I done it. it keeps my blood circulation fine and after the workout i feel fresh and looks beautiful. but after i gave birth, i dont have the time to do it regularly but i try to exercise once a week to keep my body fit. I try alternating doing the Denise Austin fit for life or do some dancing. i try not to do the same workout to keep me going.

i would like to keep in shape to my body. but fitness center is a expencive program for me. working and run in the beach i use to do to keep in shape of my body.:D

I try to exersice every day, so I can lose a few pounds...and not gain anymore! I LOVE Denise Austin, I think she is really great!! I have some of her DVD's and I record her exersice shows that come on here so I can do them whenever I want to. She is so motivating so that always keep me going!

I've actually been saving up for a Rowing Machine, and I was having trouble finding a place that actually selss them. My partner found them for sale in Canadian Tire today and so now I have a price in sight, I know where I'm at and how much further there is to go. It's given me more incentive to stick with Mylot and Blogsvertise. I've gotten lazy this past winter in terms of fitness, but then, it has been a nasty winter lol. Not that it's an excuse or anything :P Now the warmer weather is on it's way I look forward to getting out more often, and of course I have a day of hiking coming up at Easter. I think that's going to prove just how out of shape I am LOL.

fitness is very important to me as in this olluted world beign fit and healthy is more important than any thing, just walking dosent satisfies your days fitness along with it a whole body exercise is needed like swimming then onl we can be fit

It is simply indispensible for me. And when I have the chance to practice every day I find it a priviledge. First of all I walk, and I do it regularly. When I find some free time I might use to have real one day excurtions. This summer I've been walking an average of 10 hours a -day for 2 month. Second I use to practice some sport..Which I sometimes change with respect to the season and the activities I'm up to. I particular I like open air activities (like biking, running, rollerskating), but the cold season is long, so I go on with some indoor sport (boxing is my favourite, gym is ok when I cannot plan my time in function of sports). I have real motivations to be active, and they go much beyond the phisical outlook

for me, it's just a matter of confidence.. knowing how to carry yourself is important for you not to feel any insecurities.. but it doesn't mean that you have to neglect your anxiety of being fit. just be yourself while having discipline at the same time. that's all.. god speed..

I am a big time fitness freak. I love going for morning jogs and spending time at the gym. I never go on a diet but always make sure that I am working out to keep my body in shape.

im a fitness freak..im conscious with what i look and very much concern with my health...i always go to park for walks that is everyday...it makes feel energetic and alive all day..

Fitnes is very important in our life. When we filling,not well wecan't take care our children,our old people ,husband also.We can't enjoy any things.We can't go anywhere,office work can't do fast.Our officer will fire us. I want to tell all as friendly take care your self and be happy.

stayin fit is a neccesity. its equally important to everybody and all of them understand the importance of tat. but we all basically get lazy at the end. i ve been tryin to get up early for the last 4 yrs in college to work out but without any luck. but playing also keeps ya healthy and also goin on long walks. so if ur reluctant to work out's u can always go for the alternative.
