When I use Internet Explorer 7 I keep getting a Popup from 'Vid2C.com'. If I close the popup it comes back up in a few seconds. I have tried a full scan with Ad-Aware SE and Spybot Search and Destroy and a virus scan with 'Avast 4.7' , all have failed to remove this popup. I've been using Firefox a lot but sometimes we need Internet Explorer. Any ideas to remove this popup would be helpful. Thanks...

I have not used the version of IE u have but I use IE version 6.Usually when I want block up a pop up I edit the popup settings under tools menu.U also need to edit your popup blocker by setting the filter level to high. Additionally U can use a software named 'popupcop'.

Go to start run msconfig. Go to the start up tab. Any programs that you see that you do not want uncheck it. If you find programs that have weird names uncheck them also because most likely its a program that executes these pop ups and the program runs in the background.

I have fixed it!. I did an Uninstall and reinstall of Internet explorer, and it appears to have worked. I did try the msconfig command and I removed 2 programs from the startup tab, that I don't need.

IE is the worst browser ever. I has lots of bugs and prone to spywares like you are having now. I would suggest using Mozilla Firefox or K-Meleon.
