That is the reason why anyone should go to church. I don't go like I should but The heat gets to me so easy from having multiple sclrosis. If it wasn't for that I would go more. i do pray to God and read and study my bible though.

Hi there!(",) Yes, i do go to church because I love the Lord and I want to serve Him with my fellow bothers sisters of Christ. i think we ought to give back something to God even just 1 day to the 7 days that He made. Going to church is a form of obedience to God's commandments. it is a time to take the rest from all the pressures of the world. Going to church is one way of refreshing the mind and the soul. I am not perfect, no one is, but, even though there are times when I can't make it to church, I see to it that I read the Word of God through the Bible. It's nice to know that you are a servant of the Lord. God bless!(",)

You have to go to church. I don't have the right to tell you this hard because I, myself haven't been in church for months now. It's not that I am not interested but there has been conflicts that I avoided with my husband because we argued a lot about our differences in religion that our kids suffer. Please attend the church. Please search for the church that teaches the whole content of the bible. Look for a pastor that can answer your queries or confusion in there. And attending church is not a show off but it is a way to worship God with the brotherhood.

The Bible makes it clear that the local Church is a body of believers and that it is intended for us to assemble together for various reasons. Paul describes believers as various parts of a body, all working together for the common good. Every person in the Church is a vital part of the working whole. Each has a part to play and each is as important as the others. Each one encourages and strengthens the others; rejoices with the others, grieves with others and hurts when others hurt. The Church is also the means through which an impact can be made on the community and through which Christ's ministry to the world is continued. I attend Church first and foremost to worship God. Although my most worshipful times are spent alone with Him early mornings, I worship Him in the way He appointed, in company with my brothers and sisters in the Lord. I attend Church to learn more from the Word. Once again, I do this on my own in the early hours of the morning, and the Holy Spirit teaches and guides me, but I also learn as the Word is expounded at Church. I attend Church to serve. Every believer is given at least one spiritual gift, and it/they are given for the edification of the whole body. Through the Church (but not only through the Church) my gifts are exercised to help others. I attend Church to fellowship with my spiritual family: to support and encourage them, and to have them support and encourage me. I attend Church as a witness of my faith.

I go to church for a number of reasons: first is to worship Christ, showing Him honor and praise, second I think is to learn more about the bible and God, third would be I guess you could say to 'socialize' I think it's very important for Christians to fellowship with other Christians and this is one of those times, before and after service I very much enjoy spending time with my friends, catching up on what has gone on in each other's lives over the week (or days) since I've seen them. Often we will also discussion the sermon and how it effected us. I didn't go to church today because I'm sick and I feel like I missed so very much, I know God understands why I wasn't there but I do miss that time with Him and other Christians.
