Which drink you prefer the most, Coffee or Tea? Coffee and Tea are of different types viz. black, brown (mixed with milk), cold coffee, with sugar, without sugar, spicy etc. which people take depending on their taste and health problems. The South Indian coffee is said to be the best Coffee in the world. And the Chinese Tea is the best Tea. How a sip of coffee or tea makes you feel? Do you have timings for drinking coffee or tea?

I love both of them! There are days when I want tea and there are days when I want coffee but I am the instant coffee type as I am too faint hearted to drink the American style coffee ( one cup keeps me up all day nearly 12 hours ) so I avoid it unless ofcourse I am travelling and have no other alternative. I like tea too but even in that I have my cleansing routine days on those days I drink Green Tea with Honey and a dash of lemon ( on these days I munch nothing but fresh Fruits, nuts and vegetables) I also avoid all kinds of caffiene products! I like my coffee and tea with milk. But I flavour my coffe with mint, mace or chocolate and I flavour my tea with Ginger always. These days since I have been studying a lot so I have been more partial to drinking Coffee but soon I shall go back to my teas. I also am not a habitual drinker I would have a cup of tea or coffee only about 4-5 times a week. So you can always say I am not dependent on either of the products!

you are right sreevasu, my day doesn't start atall without sips from pure black darjeeling tea in the morning. i just have to have this every morn, even if i am in some different place. while travelling i carry my tea and kettle and brew it myself. in the evenings i prefer coffee, especially filter ones. sreevasu, there's nothing like pure, filter, madrasi coffee. i prefer it with milk. i live in calcutta and i buy powered coffee beans from south indian community in Lake market and filter it in coffee tumblers. however, with friends i do sip in espresso or capachino from cafe coffee day or barista. thank you

Hi Mimpi, it is really happy to hear from you after a looooong time. I appreciate your craze for south indian filter cofee. I think good quality south Indian coffee powder is available at Indian Coffee Houses, in Kolkata too. While I was in Kolkata in the early 1980's I tasted very good tea from the streets around Dalhousie (behind Writers Bldg.), Esplanade and Victoria Memorial. I think the making is more important irrespective of the brands. Thank you so much dear for responding

We do roast, grind and brew our own coffee. Assuming of course the basic beans are good then roasting is a fine art. You need to get it just right depending on the kind of brew you plan to make. We usually use a blend of Arabica and Robusta coffees for roasting. Chicory may be added at some times. At other times we add cinnamon sticks for that exquisite cup of cappucino. Cheers!

I like typical South Indian Filter Coffee. It is a mixture of milk, coffee dicaction and milk. The correct thinkness of dicaction and milk is very important. I start my day with this type coffee and my whole day is energetic.

I love coffee, with milk and sweetener. I really love creamy French Vanilla Cappucinos but they are bad for my cholesterol, so I only treat myself to one occasionally. At night I will drink a nice hot cup of tea though. There is something soothing and relaxing about a nice cup of Earl Grey.

It's a blend of tea with oil added which is extracted from bergamot orange, a fragrant citrus fruit. It has quite an interesting history to it. I really enjoy the fragrant taste of it.

Coffee triggers hyperacidity, in my case. I'm more of a tea lover than a coffe drinker. I drink hot Naicha (milk tea) and cold iced tea. I also drink 3-in-1 coffee on some mornings when I need something to perk me up well. But I usually mix in chocolate powder like Milo, to neutralize its taste. Before, I like my coffee strong and plain black with no sugar added. But as time went by, I've changed my preferences. I enjoy tea or herbal infusions now than before. I haven't tasted yet the South Indian Coffee, hope I do in the future! I don't have any rituals as to my coffee/tea drinking sessions, I just like it very hot everytime.

I prefer tea loads more than coffee. I haven't really drank coffee in over a year, and my taste for it has disappeared. I drink different teas different ways. A green tea I will have with nothing in it, orange pekoe or earl grey with cream and sugar, rooibos with just a bit of sugar, and chai with cream, cinnamon and lots of sugar. I don't think anything beats a nice cup of tea. It's like happiness in a cup for me. :)

Because I am a Chinese, I began to drink tea when I was a child, till now it has been for more than two decades, and I like its taste and smell even most foreigners say that it's taste bitter. But now I drink coffee sometimes and it feels also good. Honestly, I like tea more than coffee, I think it is my taste habit cultivited when I am a child.

ever since i came to Japan for a study, i learned to drink lots of tea. yes, tea here is much more like water to the Japanese people. you can find it everywhere from vending machines, restaurants and homes. i was a coffee drinker but then i decided to stop due to my hyperacidity. and whenever i get to drink a coffee, i make sure it is decaf and less sugar.

To be frank, I am not a fan of either. I drink coffee with tea mixed occasionally. For pure black coffee, I find it too bitter. With sugar or milk, it makes my throat sticky and itchy. Tea too leave a after taste which I do not like. So, I mixed both if possible. I do drink Chinese Tea for its "plainess". Regardless of what I drink, I need to follow up with plenty of water.

I enjoy a good cup of 100% Colombian Coffee. I use cream and sugar. It helps keep me awake since I work midnight shift. I do also enjoy hot tea. Also with cream and sugar. When I am sick I drink hot tea with lemon. It helps open up my chest when I feel congested. I enjoy both at different times, but I really can't say which I prefer. It really depends on when you ask me. At 1am.. coffee for sure. When I want to relax.. hot tea for me !!

I have heard of latin american coffee - brazilian, cuban, colombian but never got chance to taste them. Black tea with lemon is good for stomach ache though it causes a little constipation and a morning bed cofee with milk will help to release constipation LOL. Thank you dear for responding.

I am a crazy lover of coffee. I have high quality filter coffee (south Indian coffee)every morning afte waking up. Its almose the fuel that drives me through out the day. But I have restricted to once per day. So am happy that it will not pose any health hazards for me in future too! I often feel that the instant coffee are in no way better than the filter coffee. Filter coffee is really damn delicious provided its prepared with high quality milk and very good coffee powder. Nominal sugar (though not too much) is very much necessary to make it taste better! I do not ahve much idea on tea cos I dont drink it much.

Thanks for your response. There are people who need a coffee (need not necessarily filter coffee) to wake up. And I know a few who take black coffee in the morning with ghee mixed. Thank you coffee lover.

Of course COFFEE :p People always think that only smokers get along with coffee but i dont really agree with it. Good coffee comes with the best aroma and the feel you have when you get a sip of it. No matter what you think you want to mix with it, you still can get the aura of the best coffee after a sip. Trust me, only coffee lovers will understand what im trying to say here..
