All that is said above are good pieces of advice. I would also like to add one more, which I heard today, by the way, from my yoga teacher. It concerns not only tummy but also your hips and other "problem zones" you would like to decrease. So, after taking a shower/bath you should dry your tummy (and hips, etc) and then rub some amount of honey into your skin. You should do it as if you massaged your tummy, carefully and gently. Be careful, don't massage too strong or too much. Then you gently wash your tummy again, removing the residue of honey and go to sleep. Don't do this procedure more than twice a week! You will feel very quickly, that your tummy becomes more flat. Don't forget to keep to a diet and do excercises every day. Good luck!

It seems that it's not obligatory to make this procedure in the evening. It's only advisable. I'd also like to add that you may add some sugar to the honey to make it like a peeling substance. When you massage your tummy, you may also gently clap it. When you do it, you'll see if you need to wash the honey residue off at all, may be it'll absorb into the skin. I'm going to carry it out this week. My yoga instructor advised this procedure as a wonderful method against excess weight.

I say make sure to drink lots of water (8-10 glasses per day). eat lots of fruits and veggies and just have a healthy balanced diet, watch your portions. go for fast paced walks 4-5 times per week or more for atleast an hour each time.. try crunches, sit ups. jogging. work out with a friend to help you stay motivated. good luck!

Stay away from high carbohydrate foods like breads, cakes and cookies and eat lean protein. Also you can do abdominal workouts every single day. It's one of the few muscle groups you can exercise every day without straining those muscles.
