I can't always get to a pool or beach although I love to swim. I have been known to just fill up the tub with cold water and sit there for a while in all the glory of my birthday suit. For a drink I like just plain ice water or lemonade the best. Not too sweet, sometimes just lemon juice and water. I also like unsweetened iced tea, very strong.

I would have to say going for a drive and hoping this would make it cooler in the van , if not we can always use the air conditioning in there and then go for some ice cream as I find this is a nice treat and a great way of cooling down .
I have a pool for the children and they like to go in it to cool down in the summer and then come in for popsicles or some ice cream :)

My in-laws have a great wrap around front porch and I love sitting on it as the sun goes down with a nice cold Diet Coke (which is way better then Diet Pepsi, lol) or a Schwan's Sundae Cone and enjoy the easy conversation. It's the best! I also like the pool, but I have 3 little ones so I'm always kind of on edge!

A pool is hard to find when you need it , but I agree with the ice cold pepsi.. or any cold soda, come to think of it..
And can't forget about ice cream.. it is great as well.

I love to go take a dip in our little pool and relax in it. It feels so good when you get out and your all cooled off and stay that way for awhile.

I have this cold pack that fits for the shoulders. I take that out of the freezer and put it on my shoulders. It really helps to cool me down. I'll also have a very large diet dr. pepper or similar to drink while I do this. I love to swim but my body doesn't like it any more so when I need to I just take a cool shower. That can be very refreshing as well but it does rack up the water bill.

taking a bath has always been my favorite part to refresh. swimming is just another but taking a bath i can do it a lot of times in the summer while swimming can't be done almost like everyday. it is a very cool way. i love to pamper myself and that's the only way i can think of which is affordable and easy to do. you just go to your bathroom and tada! take a bath. :)
