Just read a story about a guy who lost his house and his whole family to gambling, and most of it was gambling online. You see all these casinos opening and with that many to choose from, if u are easy to get stuck I bet it is easyto gamle your whole life away. I myself like to play some poker, texas hold em online, but Ido not gamle alot.- I might put $10 in there and when they finish, so do I. It is sad to see them make such a profit of other peoples bad luck though, don´t you agree?

It is a disease to gamble, as drinking and smoking is. They cannot control themselves. It 's very sad, and they need help.

Online gambling has really brough the "gambling addiction" to the forefront of society. It is a very sad thing to watch someone lose their entire life to gambling, or any addiction for that matter. The internet has made gambling online too accessible to millions/billions of people that otherwise would not have the ability to go out and go to a casino. If it weren't for the online sites, many probably wouldn't gamble at all. I confess, I love slot machines. I have never joined an online casino though, because I know I would be in trouble. I couldn't resist the temptation to have it always available to me. Instead, I play on sites that offer free slots for points only. The casinos are in business to make money, but they do take unfair advantage of those that sometimes get in a position where they can no longer help themselves. Gamblers Anonymous is wonderful program for helping addicts, but the problem is most don't realize they need help until it is too late. Good discussion topic.

I also love slots and I actually joined a casino once, deposited $25 - got the same amount for free - a bonus. I actually cashed out $500 but they did almost everything to get me to spend it before i even recived it =) I never did though and after i got them I closed my account and never signed up again coz I know i would have lostthem all and then some =)

I do not gamble my money. My exhusband is a gambler and was known to gamble away our rent and food money. Gambling is an addiction and many don't see it as such.

I didn't join any of the online gaming. But I'm aware that its getting rmpant all around the internet. Honestly, I can't understand why people would take the risk to gamble away their house or whatever. I think there are some legitimate sites like lottery where you can buy online ticket at an affordable price. Its better to be careful to join on such sites though. :)
