Apparently in Switzerland you're not allowed to mow your lawn on a Sunday. I don't know why this is so, but i was on another forum (non-paid one) and read a thread about a persons neighbour phoning the police becuase they were cutting the lawn. I found this really odd, i mean why call the police just ebcuase someone is mowing their own lawn i wondered, i mean surely that's not a crime? Well i was wrong, apparently it is a crime to mow your lawn on a Sunday over there! How random and bizarre is that law? Laws are surely there to protect people, yet i can't see how making it illegal to mow your lawn on a Sunday protects anyone. What do you think about this law? I would have thought Sunday is the most likely day for people to mow their lawns.

I have heard of this too and also thought it was SO strange!LOL!
This isn't so much an odd law, but in Amsterdam I find it extremely odd that they can smoke pot right in the middle of the street! It was quite the culture shock because here in the United States it is a BIG no-no!
