How do you feel when you just got home from a nice vacation?

I just arrived home a few hours ago from my trip to Texas as I had a wonderful time there with my family. I had so much fun that I did not want to leave and come back. Unfortunately, I have my townhouse and job to go back to. Do you feel down when you have to come back from a nice trip? Or are you excited about getting back to the daily routines of work and whatever else keeps you busy daily? It was hard saying goodbye to my family in Texas but plan on going back in the fall. I am not ready to go back to work and have laundry and other stuff to get caught up on. It hard for me to get excited about going back to work after a vacation.

Welcome back, I am happy to hear you had a good time. I know its hard to say good bye to family. I have family that lives far away too. I like living close to family, I could never move far from my family. Normal people don't get excied about going back to work, I guess that means you are normal.

Thank you for the welcome back my friend. :-) I definitely had a great time and wish that I could have stayed longer. My parents still live here otherwise I would probably move closer to the rest of my family. Yep, I am normal. LOL

I had to get settled in a bit before I could come online and post anything as I did not have any food to eat when i returned and was hungry. I love vacations and most likely will be taking some time off this summer as well. I do like Delaware though there are some things that I do not like as well. I like my job but enjoy vacationing and relaxing more. :-) I took a plane to get back home from Texas.

That stinks that you have not been away on vacation in so long and hope you get to travel soon and enjoy various other places. I am still tired from my trip myself. Here is a picture of the park me and the kids played at and did some walking at.

When I come home from a vacation, I always feel like I have a million things to do. I like to unpack as soon as possible, then I usually throw in a load of laundry. I sit down and go through all the mail that came while I was gone. You know those bills don't stop coming just cause I went on vacation :) I usually feel like I need a day to just hang out at home and catch up on things before going to work. It's always nice to go away for awhile, but there's really no place like home.

When I got home, I had a ton of regular mail to go through and bills to pay as well as do laundry, get food and check emails and other things. I definitely hate all the catching up to do when I get home.

I don´t unpack my luggage until the following day. Same with doing the laundry, unless it´s absolutely necessary. Usually I don´t feel down when I come back from a trip, I just think that I was lucky to have had the chance to get away from home for a while. But you went to see your family and really enjoyed the time you´ve all had together, which is different. I can understand that you did not want to come back, because you will probably be missing them. Apart from that, who gets excited about going back to work after a holiday, lol? I´m glad you had a good time. Welcome back to mylot. Dana

It depends on where I went and who I was with. If I really enjoyed myself, I'm usually pretty bummed about going back home. It's nice to be back home with your own bed and your own stuff, but still... I think you know what I mean.

I wish I could go on one now. I love vacations and have always felt rested afterwards. The only part I don't like about vacations is when they are over. But I do realize that we eventually have to come back to reality and go about our daily stuff at some point in time.

I love vacations, but it is always good to get home again and back to reality. AND sleep in my own bed again. There is always the next holiday to look forward to.

Well even though I know I will miss my family when I leave from vacation, I know I have my husband and animals ( my family here) to get home to. I love getting home to my schedule, my life, my routine, the things that I love to do. Sometimes my family wears me out so much that I need a vacation from vacation. :-)

Although I might have enjoyed a lot during my vacation or a holiday trip, but when I get home, I feel great that i'm back home... nothing can match the feeling of getting home back...

Whenever I got back from a vacation I found I was exhausted and needed another day off. When we plan time away, we will shorten the vacation by one day so we can spend the time at home to get the necessary things done and to relax from the journey back.

Vacation is an unavoidable thing in one,s life.A whole year you spent your time in your office or job and get caught up in the midst of all sorts of work. Every day you have to follow almost the same timetable. It is really suffocating. And the vacation isthe answer to all such things.ayou spent some time in an isolated place with none other than you and your family ,with much solitude and peace. How rejuvanating it wii will be?But you cannot forget your duty.If only you have money ,you will be able to enjoy all these things. So first your life then there is enjoyment to make it colourfull.

when ending my vacation,i always feel depressed.but it's just the moment that i leave the place i have my vacation.cause i am so a emotional person,i am easy to love a place ,when leaving i find that i have so many good memories there.when i am on the train or in a coach,i always keep thinking that what i have done in that place, what i was doing at this time yesterday, what my friends r doing...things would go even worse when i finished my vacation in home with my parents and younger sister. but i just mentioned-it's just a moment, when i come back to my living place,i will also easy to restart my life.i'd like to write down my vacation experience and talk with my friends about it.actually speaking,i really feel recharged and energetic after vacation, and can't wait starting a new life.so usually i will set a short-term goal, carry out my agenda and plan.because i know,if i want another happy vacation i should work hard after last vacation.

I really feel exhausted. I feel like I'm more tired rather than coming home after work. As people make more money, often they think that now is the time to enjoy themselves more. Lie sure becomes more important in their lives. So, they want to travel. One problem, however, is that they don't really know where they want to go or what they want to do when they get there. So, they blindly go somewhere, just because they think it is fashionable to do so. Often they take some package tour that offers them 10 countries in 7 days. That way, they collect a lot of stamps in their passport and a lot of predictable photographs, but they don't have much about where they've been. A much better approach would be to decide where they really want to go, and why, and then plan far enough in advance in order to accomplish those goals. That way the vacation is both more enjoyable and more affordable.
