one of my friends asked me the same question before, and he is a phD now,i think that depends on what you need now. it is important to be clear about your own plan about the future.say,if you now go to work and then you find yourself has a shortage of some specific knowledge,it's not too late to go back to learn, and as a phD,i think you will get more deep about it. as in China now,i think degree is less important than before, but it is still important.just do what you think is worth doing, you will get success.

Thank you, yanstill.I am working at a big company as an intern in my first year of Master, and I intend to adopt this type in the next three or four years until I get the doctorate. I will be 28 at that time, not too old? LOL

Hi! Before anything else, welcome to myLot and congratulations on your master's degree. Well, it really depends on you if you'd prefer to work or get your PhD right on. You can also do both, actually. I myself am planning to enrol in a PhD program soon, while teaching. Do whatever suits you. Happy myLotting!
