A pastor once preached, that in the Bible when God hid Moses in the cleft of the rock and told him that he would pass by and show him his glory, he meant that he was going to show him everying that he had already done. Remember, how he said that no one can see my face and live? Well, the pastor said that he was making reference to the future. Moses was the one who wrote the first few books of the Bible. The pastor was saying that this is how Moses was able to do this.

That's an interesting thought, but it takes a bigger leap than I'm willing to make. It sounds like some of the explanations made by rabbis that Jesus soundly rebuked. Moses was able to write the first five books of the Bible because the story had been handed down orally for quite some time. He simply put it down so people could read it and not forget.

Actually, what Moses saw was not the God Himself... in the latter books in the Bible, it was said that it was only the angel, representing the Lord God... God could not be seen face to face actually. And going back to that pastor, don't believe him. He created his own interpretations about it... Hehehehe... False teachers I say are rampant in the world nowadays!
