My husband is in the army and will be stationed in Korea in July. He is training in Alabama right now. It's been 5 months since we've lived together, although I get to see him every now and again. It just really sucks because he's missed over half of his sons life (He's only 8 months old)

I have some cousins there right now. My sons father is stationed over in Iraq, he is in the Army. The others are scattered through out all the branches of the military. It is hard for my son. He worries about his dad.

My husband is a Marine. He just returned from a deployment to Iraq in Feb and he'll be leaving again in Sept. Such is the life! When he's gone, I'm busy taking care of our kid, the house, our pets, etc. I also do volunteer work, participate in local activities and learn new hobbies. In his last deployment, I learnt how to crochet!

My husband is US Army, he will soon be leaving for his 3rd tour of duty to Iraq since 2003. He will be gone for 18 months. I deal by staying busy, seeking out my support group, and taking pleasure out fo the few phone calls I get from him. I also spend time making care packages for him and other soldiers. My nephew has been to both Iraq and Afghanistan and is back in one of them now, but we have not been allowed to know just where yet. My son-n-law is a US Marine serving in Iraq again.

My husband is currently in Iraq, but he will be coming home for leave at the end of April! I can wait...it's been four months since I've seen him and before that he was gone for five months. I'm not sure how much longer he'll have in Iraq after his leave...but hopefully it won't be long! I pray that your family members are safe while overseas.

Hi jenskids, I have a sister who has been in the Air Force for 23 years. She has been to Iraq twice and every time she goes it gets me so nervous. She is presently stationed in England. I'll be glad when she gets out for good.

My cousin is in the Army and he is in Iraq right now. My fiance is in the Army and he just finished a tour in Afghanistan and is now preparing to go to Iraq. It is difficult to deal with them being gone all of the time. I try to keep busy and think of when they come home. I am going to be starting a blog when my fiance leaves for Iraq. it will help me through this I think as well. Fortunately we are able to ahve more contact with them now than we used to. So, taht is a good thing.
