Are men being discriminated against... over the toilet seat?

Women wants men to put it down. But did you ever hear about a man wanting it up? What is the difference? If a man has to lift up the seat everytime... is it not fair that the woman has to put it down everytime? It is called "sharing the task". If a man has to put it up and down... is he not being discriminated against for being a man?

Well I think that it is just the way that we were bought up and to have manners for the woman in your home, I would not call this being discrimated against although I do understand your point here, in regards to the toilet seat.

I don't think so because if a man leaves it up - and a woman is in a hurry - she falls in. If the woman leaves it down and the man is in a hurry, he can still use as is. He also does not need it up at all times, while a woman does need it down at all times.
Maybe what we should do is everyone close the lid completely.
