I would like to share what's on one of my refrigerator magnets with you because it motivates me every time I see it. I hope it will help motivate you too. :)
Be A Winner
The winner is ready to meet new challenges. The loser is challenged and runs away.
The winner says, "It can be done - with patience." The loser says, "It can't be done quickly enough."
The winner says, "I'll help." The loser says, "It's not my job!"
The winner looks to what might be. The loser dwells on what might have been.
The winner sees a difficulty and turns it into an opportunity. The loser sees an opportunity, but feels it's too difficult to pursue.
For the one who takes each problem and turns it around to become a victory - no matter how small, no matter how big - that person will BE A WINNER.
So, what kind of attitude do you have?

I think the difference between the winner and the loser is just their attitude towards life,just like that between an optimist and a pessimist..

Right now, I guess I'm just a bump on a log... I have some of the winner attitude and some of the loser attitude. I guess that's why I'm stuck where I am. I do, however have my own motivational poem stuck to the fridge, that I sometimes read. It's called "Don't Quit" but the card doesn't give an author's credit.

There are times that I have been very much the reverse of optimistic, when things at work get bad or when I run into the other problems life throws at us, but I don't like myself very much when I get that way. It just seems like the more I gripe, the worse things tend to get, and then everything else starts going wrong too. I just do what I can to find something that inspires me to shake up the attitudes and turn them to a more optimistic outlook.

I'm glad and proud to say, I've got lots of those winner attitude. When someone puts me down, I become more challenged to prove that I'll succeed and win. I hate dwelling in the past, I always love to look in the brighter future, I'm very optimistic despite all the hardships and difficulties I may encounter. And I love sharing this attitude of enthusiasm to anyone who sits and talk with me. I guess, that's why a lot of people asks for my companionship.

Very inspiring.
I'm hoping to be more myself soon enough, just wanted to and some input to your words of wisdom paidreader. It's nice to know a friend is out there, which always cheers me up.

According to your "characteristics list" I would be a winner!! I am definitely a positive person with a helpful attitude..and I love magnets on the frig that inspire!!! One of the fav's on my frig is "we make a living by what we earn...we make a life by what we give"...Cheers :)

Here are some more:- The Winner sees an answer for every problem. The Loser sees a problem in every answer.
The Winner says "it may be difficult, but it's possible". The Loser says "it may be possible, but it's too difficult".
My cup is half full - how about yours? A positive mind gives a positive attitude and wins every time.

Yes, and because it's a refrigerator magnet, it helps renew my winning attitude everytime I'm in the kitchen. That's several times a day at least. lol.
