I love it and hate it. I have gotten in contact with lots of people I haven't seen for a long time so on that hand it's cool, but there is alot of stupid crap to deal with.
I spend alot of time on there though. I belong to a few active groups that keep me interested!!

I keep my profile private as well.
I have not heard of any backdoor links though..
That's not good!
Nothing is private anymore.
We have the internet to thank
for that..

I have gotten in touch/come across many people I have not seen or talked to in quite some time.
It is also a great way to meet new people!
You just have to be careful.

For the longest time I stayed away from it on principle. I had not been aware of the site at all until I saw the news stories about predators going after underage girls on myspace and I thought it was creepy.
Lately I have spent a very small amount of time looking around on it, though I still don't have an account. With anything out there, there will be good and bad points, and a lot of people seem to be having a lot of fun on that site.

Yes I have heard about that too..
Creepy men/women have messaged me..
I just delete the message/s and block them/report them to Myspace Moderators.
It is a lot of fun!
It is addicting though.

i haven't really got into it yet, i have set up an account and everything but not really used it very much, and only got about 4 friends on it. Im not really sure why some people rave about it so much. What is so great?

I like myspace..
have been a user for about 2 years.
It can get addicting.
It's just a fun way to learn html and meet
new people and NETWORKING..
that's what I use it for the most.

I don't love or loathe it.. I like it ok. I spend time on it some days and then other days I may check it once or twice, usually depends on my mood. I have met someone offline from myspace. I use myspace to keep up with my family and friends a good percentage of the people on my friends list I know in person. I also find it a good way to make some new friends.

That is what it was originally
intended for..keeping up with
and catching up with family and
friends..and it has grown into
something I think Tom as well
as other NEVER expected..I say
KUDOS to him though..he made
a fortune off of it!!

I'm okay with it...I spend a few hours on it...haha. Well, I've met a few people off of it but ended up losing touch because they started getting really wierd and I usually use my myspace to keep in touch with my friends at school.

I've met people on myspace, no we are the best of friends. I connect with all my high school friends, family, and people from the city. It's fun. I sometimes trip out on how I met some of my b est friends on there. They added me like 2 years ago now we hang out like all the time.

Myspace is a decent place...I've met a few people off of it and find it is sometimes easier to use their message system instead of e-mail...plus it can be fun, ect.
