Hit them!

hmm, in my country (Malaysia) teacher are not allowed to hit student but they can motivate or give him/her advice if student are stubborn, but if you see on the paper it's feel very easy to do it, but the reality is very. Student will not hear what you said, and you just speak alone or with the table in the class, teacher become joker and student will do what ever they want. So tight now teacher fill useless. They can't get agry at the student. So teacher job just enter the class and teach if student want to learn or hear or not it's up to student it self. But the worse thing is if student get bad result teacher will be blame for that. so if you are teacher what you must do? so for me hit student is useful but please use it at the right time and with very carefully, hit to teach not hit to make student suffer.

I am against this. A teacher has no right to hit students. She didn't brought them up or feed them or anything. Parents hitting their own children are already an issue, what more of a stranger hitting a child?

The problem is discipline is supposed to start at home, and you are to teach your children how to behave at home. I do not hit my kids, therefore, I do not feel anyone else should. Lately, though there has been a lack in what some call "Home Training." Some parents need to stop being lazy and teach there children the proper way to act.

Well in my country it is illegal for teachers to hit students. If they do that, then they will probably be arrested and most likely loose their teaching licence. As far as I go, if a teacher had ever hit me when I was in school, all it would've done is make me angry. I probably would've hit the teacher back. When my father used to hit me I would hit him back. I'm very proud of myself for fighting back.
