Brown paper packages / myLot

Brown paper packages tied up with strings - one of my favorite things! My aunts always wrap presents in brown paper, and tie them up with string. I just love it! They always write nice things in black or red pen on them. They will draw hearts on them. I just love those packages. They make me feel loved and special! How about you? Do you prefere glossy paper and ribbon bows, or brown paper ones?

At my house we have large rolls of plain newsprint that we use for crafts. We often wrap birthday presents in this paper (or use Christmas paper turned blank side out) and then decorate the outside of the package with stamps and ink, markers, and stickers. The kids love giving the package a personal touch and I love saving the cost of wrapping paper.
