Richie Sambora is a great bluesy guitarist, both for Bon Jovi and his solo albums. Do you like his music? How do you rate him in a possible guitarists chart?

I would put him at the top of the list. I love the bluesy sound of his voice and he has some awesome guitar riffs. I've been a fan of his music since he released his first solo album. And I'm a big fan or him in Bon Jovi.

Never thought him as great guitarist, but then again, I'm not so familiar with his production. Know some songs of Bon Jovi, but don't know his solo albums at all. What I've seen, he plays ok, but wouldn't rate him very high on guitarist chart. I would give him some 5 or 6 points out of 10.

I think he's a great guitar player. He has a mature playing style and a great guitar tone. I think, because he loves to sing, he has developed a more general understanding for music as compared to some other musicians who only play one instrument. I still have his Stranger In This Town CD which I listen to now and then. Some of them like One Light Burning and Ballad of Youth are great songs.

I think Richie is over-looked and under-appreciated. His playing with Bon Jovi is great, but his solo albums are 100 times better. Anyone sitting on the fence should definitely give his solo albums a shot. They are worth it!
