Rummage sales, yard sales: Yea but I will never buy used

I used to buy used boxers for my boys. I would just wash them really well. But would never consider buying used undies for me. I love yard sales and thrift stores and rumage salesAs far as use shoes. If they are in good shape and look like they havent been worn much. I will buy them.

Some people don't mind used shoes..but I worry to much about my feet..I know if you ruin your feet you affect many parts of your body..including your back:)+

I only think of them when I notice the results by experience..People say a good shoe can save your back and a bad one..can break it.. I guess that's why shoe makers are always trying to create an improve shoe that balances the whole weight of the body..I wonder, though, didn't God give us two fee that do just that.??)+

I love rummage and yard sales. You can find some great things. I have a friend who finds antiques and pays very little for them and sells them on Ebay for lots of money. On the other hand, it's a great way to shop for things for kids who outgrow everything, even toys, so quickly. I also like new, but who doesn't love a bargain?

You are so right..sometimes you can take your antiques to antique dealers and you will probably find many pleasant surprises..One man's junk is surely another man's treasures.

I would never buy used underwear either. Maybe shoes. but you half to worry about getting althetic feet. I usually disenfect the shoes. but they have nice things, I like to go when they have the 50 % off. on a day like today you will get bargains. Every Monday.

When I was younger that is all we wore: used shoes and now my feet suffer much from trying to fit my feet into shoes that were shaped by other folk's feet..
So now only new shoes..budget price..but new;)

Yes, I think like you, no underwear nor shoes, as no one wears a size 6 shoe any more. I'll have to go to Goody's, Penney's, or Belks to buy my shoes. So yard sales and etc, are out when it comes to underwear and shoes.

there are some things that just should not get sold at a yard sale unless it is still in it's orginal package. ur right i would never by undergarments, socks, or shoes used. I get some shoes as hand me downs but at least i know where they are coming from.

I never thought about it. I know I wouldn't be able to sell any of my undergarments...I wear mine until they are falling apart and have holes in them! LOL. Sometimes though, I've bought some that I didn't like the way they fit and wore them once and never again. After washing...they'd be like new.

Oh i just love going to garage sales, you can fine a lot of nice things that are cheap. I would never buy used underwear that is gross. Now i did buy a pair of baby shoes that were brand new,but I never bought used shoes.
