MyLot... a combination of MySpace, Friendster, Yahoo Ask, and Blogger

When I found MyLot in a middle of a Google Search, I said to myself "What's this, a MySpace clone?" It's just because there's a word "My" at the beginning and "Lot" is kinda similar to "Space". But because of my curiosity, I just clicked on the link. And guess what, MyLot is now my favorite site! This is the first time I became really, really impressed with a site that offers almost everything. I mean, it's like a combination of MySpace, Friendster, Yahoo Ask, and Blogger. It's like MySpace and Friendster because you get to have your own profile page. It's like Yahoo Ask because you get to ask anything and we can expect some answers from different people. And like Blogger because we can post anything we want either it's personal or not. Plus, you can also earn money through your posts. This is really a cool site!
I really hope they will also add a YouTube feature in MyLot soon. Where we can add our videos or maybe earn by contributing videos and stuff like that. If ever they will, I'm sure MyLot will be more exciting and will become one of the most visited sites in the web. What do you all think? Do you think the YouTube idea sounds cool?

I must admit, I am really starting to get into this place. I have a MySpace and a blog at several places but I really do feel at home here. You don't have to try and impress people by pretending you know stuff. You can just give your opinions, make friends and in time, get a little cash. I'm quite glad I found MyLot too.

yep. there's no need to pretend here. we can say what we wanna say and share what we wanna share. even at times when i am sad and bored, myLot keeps my spirit up. there are lots of friendly people who are willing to share their knowledge. it's truly fun in here!

i think your thingking is very good.
yes,it is like a combinationof myspace,friendster,yahoo ask and so on.
we can do something that you want and mylot can be done.when we can upload videos or see each other with vidicon,what do you feel,oh ,execiting,excellent,wow.
i canot think baout it that i cannot have a good sleep.

Congratulations to you schrotian. Yours is marked as the best response. I just like the fact that you've responded about the YouTube feature. That's the one thing I want to hear in the responses. Like you, I'm also excited about it and I can see it is near. It can happen any time soon. Let's have faith. LOL

myLot had gone through a lot of changes. 7 months before, it wasn't like this yet. features aren't that friendly and it's difficult to navigate around. but i still got addicted to the discussions here. it's fun and so great to be just a member of this site.
looking at myLot now, i feel so blessed to a part of this growing community. look at how many members are already here. back then, we were barely 10thousand in numbers. and soon, we'll reach 100,000! that's so cool!
i like everything in here. and most especially, i get to have new friends around. plus not to mention, we get paid by having fun here. what's better than that?

No doubt it's the best. Like I said in my discussion, it offers almost everything. It's a combination of different great websites here in the web. I'm really looking forward for more good changes here and the one thing I'm really excited about is the YouTube feature. Hope they implement it soon.

i like the way you think. and the best in mylot is, we can make some really good friends. we can share our concerns with people allover the world, its a safe place to exchange tips and support. where on warth do you have this without having to fear about the reactions. what i like too here is no matter how old you are, everybody has something to say. i like it to learn new things from young and old.

Yeah, I heard about this place from yahoo answers. I use to use answers a lot but you know mylot is about ten times better! lol. You don't get penalized for asking questions which I really like and I haven't seen any spammers or anything. Plus you get paid for your time and effort!

Helooo, ronreyes, thanks for adding me as your friend..myLot is the first discussion site I am member of and one big advantage is that we can choose what we want to talk about.
There are also people of many ages here and they have a lot of experience to share with us.
Your cool idea seems to be true now. Just got the mail about the video contest!!

oh yeah! but it's just a contest! in short, it's just temporary. I really hope they will make it as a permanent feature here lol. congrats in advance for the winner in this contest. the prize is really a huge amount so hopefully you'll spend it wisely!

it is a good thing that you found out about mylot. it is the best place to be in the internet. you enjoy posting and while you post, you earn. im very excited to have my time vacant to be able to post here in mylot. good luck to you and keep it up, you might get your cashout very soon.

I love mylot! It is easy to navigate and get the hang of. i heard someone call it 'idiot proof' That is good for me!
I did try myspace, but found it confusing and I did not like it. Plus there are to many freaks on there. I would prefer to be here.
I would not think that a youtube type system would be good for mylot. There is a lot of trouble with youtube that I would hate to see here. And of course we can always link to the youtube site and share our videos that way.

My partner is the first to join here in myLot, then I was her downline. She actually hates the idea of joining, she kept on telling me that She'll just register to make me happy but don't expect anything from her. Well I let her, then after two weeks I could not find a time to use the pc because she was always using it on myLot, she actually got addicted. lol. But now the problem is solved, I just recently bought a pc for myself. Hehehe

I do like your idea of a YouTube on here. That would make this a even more special site. It is already a site I come to everyday and enjoy being here. I often have wondered why this site is so popular and when I read aboutpaula's response here the reason was thrown at me. It is a place where I feel at home. I am very comfortable here. I think a YouTube would be a excellent idea. I don't know if you are aware of it but you can make a suggestion to the mylot people and they will look at the suggestion and decide on it.

I love mylot, you opened my eyes about this issue and thank you ver much for doing so. I am enjoying it here, but the problem is I hope I could invite my friends to join here on mylot and we would all enjoy the learnings and the earnings as well. I will try to post an invitation to friendster so that they too will also sign up.

I've just discovered myLot about a month ago and the first day I navigated around here, I got hooked! You're right, it's like having Friendster/ MySpace, Yahoo Ask and Blogger in one site. Like you, I sometimes don't have the time anymore to visit my Friendster acount, and even my Multiply account because I just really love it here in myLot! Fun and interesting discussions, great friends, and new knowledge too from people of different cultures. The money is just a bonus for me. I actually spend late hours awake because of myLot, lol!! It's just so addicting! And I would like the idea of having a YouTube feature here too. That would make it more fun. Oh, and thanks for the friend request too, ron! See you around! :p

Unlike Yahoo that does hardly anything about its problems. Mylot takes care of them right away, and friendster that loves to spam your emails when you invite your friends over and over and over, when you send and invite through mylot is goes just once, and Blogger.. Well I only use that to post my best posts from mylot or my yahoogroups on.. So it's like my archive of my favorites.. Althought I use mylot way more than that...
Mylot is by far better than any of the services you listed above.. myspace.. I dunno I just never totally got into that at all yet... - DNatureofDTrain

I love this site out of all the paid sites I haven't like any as much as this one. your idea with youtube.com and mylot.com together now that is a great idea. We all could probably get more referrals that way if we could add youtube vids on here to get more money. youtube has a lot of cool vids. I hope one day mylot will add this idea. thanks for sharing this.

When I register MyLot, i just register it. After that i rarely login. Approximately two weeks after I signed up a new login often. that time I do not know what I should do. now I have a little familiar. MyLot if YouTobe added feature, I think is a very good idea. Hopefully it MyLote immediately add YouTobe.

You know what I have never been interested to any other site than this. this is a very good engineered site. It's pretty much figured out what people wants and what people need. People need money and they need advises and some information that they don't know yet. This site can make you learn and earn. I am very impress with this site...
