Back In My Day.....

Have you ever heard something like this "Back in my day, we had to walk 2 and a half miles to school..." or "Back in my day, we didn't have a television, we had to entertain ourselves..." I used to hear stories like that alot. Now that I'm older, I find myself noticing things that were brought out during my lifetime such as the VCR and microwave. These things for our children, have always been there, so, what kinds of stories do you think we'll be telling our grandchildren about our generation. Humour is most certainly welcome :)

That's a good attitude to have. I always got a "kick" out of the things that were said. Often, they would get said to me if I had a complaint of some sort. Someone would surely respond with "Well, back in MY day...."
