I think that God sacrificed his son so that we may live. Jesus took all of our sins on his shoulders, as they might die with him, so we may live and be forgiven through him. I think it was a gracious gift from God.

Yes you are right that God sacrifices a lot. God took all our sins and make us happy. Thats why everybody say that always remember God whether in Good or bad times but now a days what is going on is people forgetting God specially in happiest moment but they remember God in their bad times,i think Human being has become very selfish kind of person.

Yes, I agree as we blame God for the bad things, but give him no credit for the good things. I think we have become pretty selfish.

Amen! People don't realize that God, being the great Spirit, spark and breath of Life, lives through, suffers and experiences *all* sufferings which occur. Why would He put Himself through all that? Because He's not creating an ant farm.. :))

I'm kind of radical about this.. believing the Father's sending of the Son is built right into everything.. Psalm two says "this is my decree, thou art my beloved Son" - Jesus, the decree.. it's not so much that WE have eternal life, but that we will share Jesus' eternal life.. To me God is the great Spirit, spark and breath of Life.. but when he endowed thinking ability.. it caused the world to be able to wander away from Perfection/God/Life.. So the Son was sent to check that journey away from life.. :))

I love Jesus Christ with all my heart and sole. He gave the biggest sacrifice that I may have eternal life, and I will always be thankful and walk with Him.
