What songs do you like to play?

There are so many songs out there it makes it hard to choose. I like to play funky stuff like "Reel Big Fish" and "Red Hot Chilli Peppers". However I am not limited to that style.
I like to take a guitar song like One by Metallica and learn it on my bass. When I was giving lessons I taught a student the rhythm guitar part and I played all of the solos on my 4 string acoustic bass. It was nice and I really doing that.

Try Steve Vai and Joe Satriani if you want technical stuff. Some say Eric Johnson but some also beg to differ.

i play heavy metal,anything that is heavy and has some awesome riffs.i play mainly songs from metallica,meadeth and slayer.a litlle of iron maiden too.i really love playin the guitar.it help calm my nerves at times when i am tense.i play on a jackson flying king v.it is one of the best guitars around.

I used to play a lot of Iron Maiden when I was younger. I really like Megadeth's Rust in Peace cd. Me and a friend learned the hole cd and used to jam that stuff all of the time. Holy Wars was one of the songs I liked playing from that cd. Then Master of Puppets is a great song to play. I like all of the changes. It keeps things fresh.

Nice. I was in a quintet for a little while. Some of it was ok but most of it was a drag because I had to play a bunch of tied whole notes and stuff like Pachabel's Canon.
I like to listen to it but the bass line wasn't cool at all.

I have a wide range of music tastes but mostly old rock and roll and new country and western. Since you play bass guitar you would like the music that had a lot of good sounding bass in it. I have a freind that is a regular guitarist and he loves finding different styles to try. He grew up on Ted Nuggent...:} I went from guitar to piano...easier on the fingers...:}

I play piano too. When I get the chance I will play a fast Metallica song like "Master of Puppets". I think it sounds great on the piano and the same on acoustic guitar. =)
I like heavy and thrash metal on piano. Its sound is full and rich. It doesn't need all of that distortion and noise.
One day my Music Theory professor walked into class early while I was playing "Master of Puppets" on the piano. He asked me what it was and said he will have to check it out. LOL

I am getting to old to play much of anything anymore, except for my computer keyboard that is...:}..Still love to listen to music though, mosy all kinds.

I actually have a song that's most of the way done., at least the guitar part. The lyrics writer is actually on both of our friends lists. Being that it has been a while since I've picked up a guitar, & I don't have the required equipment to actually get the guitar parts recorded directly to this dinosaur of a computer, I might need a bit of help with it.

I like many many songs ,I usually play stuff from Madonna,Pete Murray,Missy Higgin,U2. I also love rock,roll so I do stuff from Kiss and Jet and Greenday.I try to learn new stuff so I try to add a new song to my list every month so I seldom have a day go by that my guitars(semi acoustic and bass )dont get played.

I like all kinds of music except "Rap" which i really don't consider that music...I like a lot of songs really to many to name.I have some favorite singers but that does not mean i like all of their music just because i like them..I like some country,and a lot of oldies also.i guess you could say I am a real music lover.
