I know they are in my country. they just did a survey on this. I think it is actually horrible that it is still like this in a country that prides itself on beeing a society with small differences between rich and poor, men and women etc.

I hope that time will come soon enough when women gets the same pay as men in your country. After all, there are some tasks that women can do better. Just as there are some tasks that only men are fit to do.

Quite right. Women should be paid less as they are always off work having curse pains, having babies, taking sick babies to doctors, having divorces, et al. I mean, they never seem to be at work for 3 consecutive months. How do you plan around that? Well you employ two women to get the work done, when one man would do it with ease. Therefore women should get half a man's pay.
I now wait for the female wrath to descend on me!! haha

I really love all you girls, even ones without a sense of humour. haha
I remember once being woken up by the African gardener at 2am to ask if I would take them to the hospital. No problem, got dressed and took them in. Next morning, there was a very proud gardener saying they were blessed with a fine boy and there baby was on the back of his wife as she busied herself making breakfast for them and doing all the household chores as usual!

I cannot possibly agree with this statement. The way things are going nowadays, women are getting the same pay men do. There are even some jobs which offer bigger salaries for women because it is women they desire for employemnt.

Yaa I am agreed with you.
I have experienced that in the office men are given more weightage than women.
hence the salary package is also less.

They are not in the UK, here in the UK we have equality rights and everyone earns the minimum wage regardless if you are a male or female. So no this statement is not correct, but I do realize that in some countries where men are more favoured and paid more, thankfully we live in a country where this is not the case.

I wouldn't say that in regards to workers here, but since I didn't go around asking people how much they got paid, I could be wrong. I really hope that employers realize women can do a good job, just like men, and so gender shouldn't be the reason why we get lower pay.
